So it’s been quite a week for me and my family. My daughter had a bit of cough and cold for thirty-six hours and unknowingly passed them to me. Unfortunately, those two came with other “friends” such as muscle aches and pains, burning sinuses, headache, fever, chills, and an increased heart rate.
It’s been hard.
I had to push myself to get into the bath that my husband prepared for me.
I had to push myself to take a shower today because I simply needed one and it did help get rid of my muscle aches and pains. It also helped me feel that I can face the day despite my situation.
But I had to make an appointment to see what is really going on with me.
Appointment was booked.
I came to the appointment.
First, there was only one person in the lobby waiting with his mask on. Then a father and daughter came for covid test. Then a woman for a foot infection check. Then a group of young people for covid test as they’re suffering from cough and drainage. Then a guy came and was coughing a lot. Then another one with the same symptoms. Before you knew it, there was a party of people suffering from upper respiratory issues. The poor woman with foot infection felt she was in the wrong place and should have worn a mask. We should have all worn a mask but totally forgot about it.
But while one was coughing or blowing his or her nose, one was answering back with either of those.
It was funny.
We all were suffering that we just had to laugh about it. We all came here for the same reason. We all wanted answers and solutions.
I am not sure if it would have been wise to stay home and avoid more exposure to germs. I am really not sure because a part of me feels stronger knowing that I’m not the only one suffering right now.
I know it’s flu season and there’s colds, allergies, and covid too.
I do feel good to be in a group of people that totally get what I’m going through. Lol. (I’m not sure if that’s a good thing.
We will all be fine, I’m sure. We just need to trust in the Lord and let Him take care of us while we do our part in taking care of our bodies being the “temple of the Holy Spirit.”
If you’ve read this post please keep us in your prayers. I’d sure would like to welcome 2022 in better health. I’m sure others would like to do the same.
Blessings!❤️
